We purchased Highland Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, a 98-bed skilled nursing facility formerly known as St. Teresa Nursing Home in Middletown, New York in February 2013 from the Archdiocese of New York. The following is an excerpt from ArchCare’s press release announcing the sale of the facility:
“We are confident that Personal Healthcare and its owners represent values that are consistent with St. Teresa’s culture of dignity and respect,” said Scott LaRue, ArchCare’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “We were committed to only sell St. Teresa’s to another quality nursing home operator that would continue to operate it as a nursing home and maintain the beds and jobs in the community. Transferring ownership to Personal Healthcare enables us to fulfill that promise.”

We purchased Utica Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, a 120-bed skilled nursing facility formerly known as St. Joseph Nursing Home in Utica, New York in February 2015. The following is an excerpt from St. Joseph’s press release published in an October 2013 article in the Utica Observer Dispatch:
"We are pleased about bringing Personal Healthcare LLC and its years of experience in the long term and rehabilitative care industry to this community, as we believe they share our views regarding patient care and devotion to personal attention," said Michael Calogero, Chair of the Board of Directors of St. Joseph's Nursing Home. "After much thought and consideration, we concluded transferring ownership to Personal Healthcare best provides for the continuation of the quality care St. Joseph's has provided to the community," he added.

We received New York State Department of Health approval for the issuance of 176 brand new skilled nursing beds in Delaware County and are currently in the final stages of completing construction on a brand new 125,000 square foot state of the art facility. Delhi Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is projected to open later this year. The following is an excerpt from a December 2015 article in The Daily Star:
"I’m thankful for the new owners stepping forward to help fill this critical need for our seniors in Delaware County, and also for all the support the community has provided," Rep. Chris Gibson, R-Kinderhook said. According to Health Department records reviewed by The Daily Star, the project represents an investment of nearly $30.7 million. The new owner of the home has been identified by officials as Personal Healthcare LLC.
